Lay Ministries
Altar Guild
Altar Guild members prepare, care for and clean the altar and items used in connection with our worship. Members are part of a team responsible for all services during one week period every month. Contact Shirley Waddill at stgeorgesw@gmail or 719-635-7951.
Chalice Bearers

Hosts
The friendly people at entrances and throughout the building, wearing purple ribbons welcome parishioners and visitors, provide directions and introduce newcomers to clergy and church members. Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM)
Provides communion to parishioners unable to attend Sunday worship for reasons of chronic illness or infirmity. Contact Lynda Cooke at stgac.lem@gmail.com or 719-660-9865.
Lectors
Lectors read the scripture lessons for all services. Training is provided. Lectors are scheduled on a rotating basis with an effort made to schedule people for the service they customarily attend. Contact Ken Emery: 576.3577 or kemery67@comcast.net
Music Program

Transportation

Ushers
Ushers are the “face” of St. George’s Church and are responsible for many aspects of Sunday worship. Ushers welcome service attendees, distribute service leaflets, collect the offering gifts of worship and register attendance.
